Timing:
Story Portrait sessions can be done at any age and can be done with multiple children or even the entire family. Birthdays seem to be a popular time to do this type of session, since these images make great invitations, cake toppers or themed party decor.
Scheduling:
Story Portrait sessions need to be scheduled 2-4 weeks in advance due to the amount of planning required.
Planning the Session:
Before your session I will send you a pre-session questionnaire. This will help me know your individual goals for the session, style preferences, ideas and anything else important you want to share with me. I can use any theme you see in my portfolio or we can work on a custom idea/theme. We will talk about costumes, make-up and props. I do have a selections of costumes, but might not have everything in every size.
During the Session:
Story Portrait sessions are a ton of fun. We will be using costumes, props and even make-up. All of this will be carefully planned in advance. The posing will be very interactive and directed. There will be plenty of time for everyone to warm up, get comfortable and just have a blast.
